This warm and hearty salad makes the perfect side. Crispy bacon meets tender-roasted broccoli, sweet dried cranberries, and crunchy pecans, all tossed together in a flavorful vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chopped broccoli
  • 6 oz bacon
  • 4 oz craisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 oz grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp agave nectar
  • 3 lbs chopped broccoli
  • 6 oz bacon
  • 4 oz craisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 oz grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp agave nectar

Preparation

When ready to cook, start the Traeger according to grill instructions. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Place bacon on grill grate, leaving enough room for a cookie sheet. Cook bacon for 20 minutes with the cookie sheet in the grill to heat up.

In a bowl, toss broccoli with 2 Tbsp olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the broccoli on the heated cookie sheet. Stir the broccoli after 10 minutes.

Whisk 4 Tbsp olive oil with the mustard, vinegar and agave nectar.

Remove the bacon and broccoli from the grill. Chop the bacon and toss all ingredients together in a large bowl.

Serve warm. Enjoy!
