Traeger’s Gin & Tonic takes an old-school classic and brings it into the smoke age with grilled oranges and smoked berries.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 OZ GIN
  • 1/4 CUP SMOKED BERRIES
  • 1/2 CUP TONIC
  • 1 ORANGE CUT INTO SLICES, GRILLED
  • 2 TBSP GRANULATED SUGAR
  • 1.5 OZ GIN
  • 1/4 CUP SMOKED BERRIES
  • 1/2 CUP TONIC
  • 1 ORANGE CUT INTO SLICES, GRILLED
  • 2 TBSP GRANULATED SUGAR

Preparation

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes).

For the smoked berries: Place mixed fresh berries on a sheet pan and place directly on the grill grate. Smoke for 20 to 30 minutes or until smoke flavored.

For the orange slices: Set the temperature on the traeger to 325 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10-15 minutes.

Toss the orange slices with granulated sure and place directly on grill grate. Cook for about 20 minutes turning once or until the slices have developed grill marks.

Pour gin into a glass, add ice and berries and top with tonic water. Garnish with fresh mint sprig and grilled orange wheel. Enjoy!
