Garlic Parmesan Filet Mignon

Party animals don't have to eat like animals, give filet mignon a go. It grills up so tender, you'll think it's heavenly, but is really (still) a party in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 2 to 4 Filet Mignon
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon-Style Mustard
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 to 4 Filet Mignon
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon-Style Mustard
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 cloves Garlic

Preparation

Start the Traeger on smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes).

Turn the Traeger to high. While the grill is heating up, season the filets with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Also mince your garlic and chop your Parmesan so it's fine, and combine.

When the grill reaches temperature, place filets on the grill and cook for 4 minutes on each side. After 8 minutes total, spread the filets with the Dijon mustard and dip in the minced garlic and Parmesan cheese mixture and place back on the grill for another 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Let rest for 5 minutes and serve.
